Our past trip to the Playtime NY market show back in February gave us the chance to come across some awesome brands! One of them was Freckle Baby. Freckle Baby is a genius company started by Kimberly Pratt to solve the "fetch a toy for your little one" dilemma. Lucy (+ Greer hee, hee) love to play "retail shop". So, for Christmas we thought it only fitting to make them their very own Bitsy brick + mortar. A place to sell a flavor of what they wish to their itsy bitsy customers. Oh what fun! We had a TON of fun creating it and want to share it with you! One of our Grammies made the beautiful curtain above the shop "window". It is a vintage fabric that was used in her baby's bedrooms years ago. Adding just the right amount of special-ness!

Please excuse the organic feel of our "shoot". It was an icky day outside, so we decided to throw up a sheet and let the girls have some playtime! We hope the cuteness of L + G in their shop steal your attention.

 As you can see, the shop has been quite busy recently! It is "closed" today for a much needed holiday...

bitsy favorite for the itsy...LA COQUETA!

Bitsy is all about hand-me-downs, classic pieces with an updated look - this we know. Well, if there were ever a brand to match Bitsy's aesthetic and style aspirations, La Coqueta would be it. We are naturally almost always drawn to Spanish-made children's wear and you'll see why after sifting through La Coqueta's collection and over-all style. This brand's chic twist on the traditional has us wanting every single piece!

La Coqueta resides in North London, but every piece is "proudly made in Spain". And, lucky for us, the owner (mother of 5, ehhh emmm) offers all of her exquisite creations on La Coqueta's e-commerce site, so cheers to those of us across the pond. We can get some goodness for our little ones as well!

Everything about this brand makes us content. You will truly appreciate the beautiful details, subtle twists and European touches.
